Great day in Newvillage with U17 and U18 BOYS and the Women’s Squad in action.
⚽️ U18 BOYS had a comfortable 3-0 win against St Bernards.
⚽️ U17 BOYS had a hard fought 2-1 win vs a physical Athenry side.
Kento scored the first goal on the half volley from a great cross by Nicky in the 16th minute, followed by a screamer top left corner from Cormac in the 23rd minute.
A solid defence and a great team performance in the second half were crucial to the win.
Special shout to Michael K who played both games and to Dylan G who is out with a long term injury.
⚽️ Women’s squad put in a strong performance but couldn’t overcome tabletoppers Salthill Devon this evening.
⚽️ U11 GIRLS were also in action, winning 1-0 against a very competitive Kinvara squad.
