I would first like to thank you in advance for taking the time out of your schedule to read this letter and consider our needs.
Just over 14 years ago, Oughterard AFC purchased land in Newvillage in Oughterard and began developing facilities to create a soccer club that today has over 500 members.
Today we have members playing and competing at levels from Under 6 to Senior from the Moycullen, Oughterard, Kilanin, Clonbur and Maam areas.
Year by year we have continually improved our facilities.
Our first undertaking was to clear our new site making provisions for 3 full size playing pitches, an all-weather playing surface with dressing rooms and clubhouse to follow.
On completion of this development we had: one sand carpet-based pitch and one soil-based pitch.
In August 2013 we had our new modular building dressing rooms and clubhouse on site, with electricity arriving in Spring 2014.
In September 2016, we completed work on an all-weather playing surface which allows our teams to play and train at Newvillage Football Park for the complete season for the first time in our history.
With a significant annual budget required to maintain and improve the facilities, we need to continually raise funds to run the club to the highest standard.
We would be very interested in partnering with you to sponsor the club and have many different packages available that are attached overleaf.
Alternatively, if you wish to donate, it would be greatly appreciated. Donations of any amount will be accepted.
