U15 BOYS made a sensational comeback to win the Division 3 League Title this evening after going 3-0 down at halftime. The turning point started with Ben scoring two minutes into second half. When Evan scored from a header 10 minutes later, the boys began to believe they could do it. David equalised the game with a header and sealed the deal with the winner with 5 minutes to go. All the players defended brilliantly to hold on for their second League Title in 3 years. FT: St Patricks 3 4 OAFC. OAFC Over 35s played against a well organised Kiltullagh Pioneers side in Newvillage this evening that ended in a 3-1 loss but with lots of positives to take away from the game. In their 3rd year of this league, the team is getting stronger game by game and it’s great to see them enjoying their football. A great penalty by captain and player/manager Jody Daly was sent sweetly into the top corner. It was only a couple of really well taken goals by the away team that separated the two sides in the end. The lads looked very sharp in their brand new kit which is kindly sponsored by Apache pizza Oughterard.
