Well done to all the players and coaches who put in great shifts today in cold and foggy conditions home and away.
All credit to U15 GIRLS who put in a strong home performance against Knocknacarra this afternoon to advance to the next round of the Cup.
Goals from Alannah and Siofra secured the win with a great workrate and commitment from all the players.
⚽
Hard luck to Senior Women who lost 2-0 to a strong Knocknacarra team.
The players fought hard and played good football but to no avail.
⚽
All the extra training has stood to U12 BOYS Championship who came away with a good home win against Corrib Celtic.
OAFC went 1-0 down against the run of play in the first half but continued to play the better football in the second half.
The reward came when Ethan got a nice poachers goal following a spill from Donnachas shot from outside the box.
OAFC continued the pressure and Patrick slotted home after Riagans free kick had hit the crossbar and come back out.
⚽
U13 GIRLS were unlucky not to have come away with a different scoreline in their game vs Athenry.
The girls played very well against a strong, disciplined Athenry team.
Having hit the crossbar and upright on three occasions, the girls were just unlucky on the day.
⚽
U11 GIRLS faced a strong Athenry side on a very cold morning.
Both teams fought hard with strong performances from both sides. Great to see the development teams developing week to week.
Well done to all the Players and Coaches on another great Sunday of football.

Well done to Junior Men who secured all three points vs St Patricks on home ground today.
In what was a tight affair from start to finish a first half goal from Cathal Sweeney gave us an important 1-0 win.
⚽
Impressive and comprehensive victory for U15 BOYS Div 1 vs Loughrea.
This fantastic team performance moves the squad into second position in the League.
⚽
Also in Newvillage, U13 BOYS Championship lost out 0-3 to Ballinasloe Town.
A typical competitive even match between both sides.
More clinical finishing by Ballinasloe was the difference on the day.
Great performances and effort all round from the lads regardless of the result.
⚽
Plenty of goals in Kinvara where U15 BOYS Div 4 drew 4-4.
OAFC opened the scoring through Rowan after some great play and doubled it soon after when Rowan got his second. Kinvara Utd pulled one back before Jurica got his first goal, followed by a second, after Kinvara pulled another goal back to make it 4-2 at half-time.
Kinvara came out strong in the second half and levelled the game with ten minutes to go.
Credit to both teams who played some lovely football in very tough conditions which made for a great game.
⚽
Great day out for U11 BOYS Blue Squad who played their second round of games in the Development League vs Tuam Celtic.
Fantastic teamwork from the boys who are improving by the week.
Impressive attacking football and defending with everyone contributing.
